Work Experience
Starting and Growing No Fumbles
No Fumbles taught me the importance of vision, consistency, and planning ahead of time while I was building the company. Running my own company gave me practical experience with marketing, product development, customer service, and business operations. Classes like Marketing and Retail Management taught me about strategy and allowed me to use what I learned in real life. When planning my drops and marketing campaigns, I followed the 4Ps of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion). Items include product fliers, logo drafts, and photographs from the No Fumbles website.
Leading through Service
My experience with Lambda Chi Alpha and leadership roles in community projects taught me the value of giving back and serving others. I assisted in the coordination of Winter Wellness Week, an initiative aimed at promoting health and wellness in South Carolina and North Carolina. Hospitality and tourism courses taught me how to serve and interact with communities efficiently. Maslow's Hierarchy of requirements provided guidance for how we arranged the event to meet people's requirements and create a welcome environment. I received event posters, images from the event, and feedback from attendees.
Helping Others Start Their Brand
Recently, I've started applying everything I've learned to assist others in starting their own apparel brands, from concept to launch. I mentor other creatives, assisting them with branding ideas, design work, store setup, and product launch. Communication and leadership classes taught me how to guide others and explain things clearly. I use an approach that leads to transformation, utilizing my platform to inspire and encourage people. Artifacts include mentor feedback, sample store designs, and branding kits that I helped create.
